Mobile Oil Change Company; Developing a Web Presence

Author: Lance Winslow

If you own a mobile oil change company it is imperative that you have a Web presence and develop a Web site, which will help inform and educate your customer. This will make sure that the customer understands what will happen and is careful not to waste your time.

In any mobile business with high fuel prices to drive around you must stay efficient and a Web site can help with scheduling for customers, online payment for services and notification of which oil filters you will need when you arrive at the job site to change the oil in the People's cars. Knowing this information a day or two in advance and using a form online on your Web site will help you with inventory issues.

This way you do not need to stock all the filters that are possible for every single type of car available. Instead if you know the types of cars you will change the oil for in advance you can buy the fuel filters, oil filters and perhaps a specific grade of oil the morning of the service. Imagine running a mobile oil change company with little or no inventory except for exactly the types of cars, which are most prevalent.

It behooves a mobile oil change company to also educate the customer on your environmentally friendly nature and how the services will be performed. There should also be a form so customers can ask questions. These are all things you should consider for your mobile oil change business when developing a Web site. Think on this in 2006.
