We have discovered that resources are the key to achieving internet marketing gold. The resources that I am speaking about are the team that you build around your internet business. They include our customer lists, our affiliates, and our joint venture resources and partners. With just a small number of each of these resources at your disposal, the road to success becomes a much easier and enjoyable ride.
The resources that we need to focus on are YOUR LIST (Subscribers of Free Products, Customers and Long Term Customers.), YOUR AFFILIATES (Those who Sell Your Products and Services), and YOUR JOINT VENTURE (JV) RESOURCES and PARTNERS (Those Who Partner with you).
RESOURCE #1YOUR LIST By far the biggest and most complex resource category is YOUR LIST. YOUR LIST is actually several lists. There will be a list for those who have visited your website and subscribed to a free product or service. There will be another list that includes those who have made their first purchase from you. Generally the first purchase will be for a lower cost product and service. Finally, there will be a list of those who can be counted on to make purchase after purchase from you.
Your list is the mainstay of your business. These are the people that you can promote to at no cost to yourself. These are the people that talk about your last published issue and your products to friends and acquaintances. YOUR LIST is gold to your business!
RESOURCE #2 - AFFILIATES Another resource that will be critical to your long term success of your online marketing efforts will be your affiliates. They are a key to your sales. They will be actively working to provide you with the gold that comes with success.
So just who are your affiliates? They are the people who head out and try to make money by promoting your products for commissions. Not only will they be putting money into your pocket, but they'll be building YOUR LIST at the same time.
RESOURCE #3 - JOINT VENTURE RESOURCES One of the most critical pieces in your arsenal of resources will be your Joint Venture resources.
What do your Joint Venture resources do for you? Your Joint Venture resources may be the technical experts who partner with you in developing and marketing your information products. They may be other online marketers within your area of specialty who partner with you to promote and market products that you have developed. They may be experts who mentor you as you develop your products and then partner with you in the sale of those products.
One of the exciting things about these resources is that when you properly utilize them, they will work together in complete harmony. In fact, when properly used, they will continually develop each of the other resources for you. As the number of resources in each category grows, you will be in the position to reap more and more of the gold to be made in online marketing. |
