Trying to determine when to call your date after your first night out can sometimes be difficult. Below are a couple of tips that you should keep in mind to make things a little bit easier.

Tip #1 If you had a great date with somebody you may want to call them later on in the evening to make sure that they got home safely. But be very careful when doing this. You do not want to appear clingy, and make your date feel overwhelmed.

Tip #2 You do not need to call your date the following morning, but at the same time you do not want to wait several days to call. You may want to wait 24 hours, or even a little bit longer. Just remember that waiting too long may show your lack of interest.

Tip #3 Plan out what you are going to say. Never go into a phone conversation without anything to say. This is just going to make you more nervous, and you will probably end up stammering all over your words. Even though you want to have an idea of what you are going to say, you do not want to sound like you are reading from a script.
