Ready to go out of the jug. Concrete stains can be applied with a sprayer or a brush for small areas. *New Concrete - allow 30 days for concrete to cure. *Existing Concrete Remove sealers, curing compounds, oil, and paint. How do I know my concrete is cleaned? *DO NOT use acid to clean the concrete before staining. Test by wetting the concrete, if the water beads up, then it needs more preparation work, if it doesnt then you are good to stain. Limitations of the stain? Concrete that has been saturated with oil may not allow the chemical reaction. Concrete that has a color hardener may change the colored effect of the stain.
